Executive Education Programs in China

Wharton is working with many organizations in China to help them sustain the momentum that fuels the rapid growth of the Chinese market. We have worked with clients in the banking industry and municipal governments and partnered with local business schools to deliver management and leadership development programs to Chinese executives.

  • Wharton has partnered with the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) to design, develop, and deliver the Corporate Governance and Board of Directors program. This program is customized to reflect the current realities of corporate governance practices in China, essential to senior executives and board members of Chinese enterprises in understanding and managing their long-term sustainable development challenges.

  • Wharton Executive Education has also partnered with the China Minsheng Banking Corporation — the country's only privately-held bank — which is expected to become one of the leading retail banks in China in the next few years. Between March 2006 and July 2008, five cohorts of senior executives from China Minsheng Banking Corporation completed modules in Philadelphia, Shanghai and Dalian, China, spanning various aspects of management development, with specific reference to the banking industry.

  • The Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business has partnered with Wharton Executive Education and INSEAD to deliver a four-module senior executive development program for CEOs in China.

  • Wharton Executive Education, the IESE Business School, and China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) have formed a powerful alliance spanning three continents to offer top business leaders a new leadership program: Global CEO Program: A Transformational Journey. Faculty members are recognized globally for their contributions to the practice of management, for their teaching in executive education programs, and as business executives, consultants, advisors, corporate board directors, and authors of numerous books, case studies, and academic papers.
