Integrated learning technologies
Wharton's goal to deliver “Impact through Education” is enhanced via our use of sophisticated technology platforms and a video production studio that allow us to deliver pre- and post-program content for a seamless learning experience. We blend synchronous Web 2.0 learning technologies before and after the residential classroom experience for fully integrated learning. Participants benefit from collaborative interaction prior to their residential program experience and in post-program virtual classrooms that help them integrate what they have learned once they are back on the job.
Our ability to deliver a “virtual classroom” anywhere in the world enables us to engage participants in the learning process at any distance. And our capabilities fully support remote learning, allowing us to reach clients around the globe with access otherwise limited by travel restrictions or costs.
Virtual classrooms virtually anywhere
For a seamless program experience from any location globally, Wharton’s virtual classrooms require no client installations and are easily accessible. They are fully supported with video, live chat/questions and answers, PowerPoint presentations, and application sharing. Participants can join our virtual classrooms from any location via Internet/phone, and no plug-in is required. They may also opt for audio-only participation when traveling. In addition to our virtual classrooms, Wharton’s technology allows us to develop content collaboratively, and to deliver this content in multiple languages with simultaneous translation.
Immersive learning simulations
Along with the ways in which Wharton’s technology impacts how we deliver program content, it also makes an invaluable contribution to what we deliver. With technology that supports a variety of teaching methods, one of those with the most impact is our computer simulations — experienced-based simulations with open-ended outcomes that stimulate discovery and real-world problem solving. These virtual business scenarios allow participants to test and apply the concepts they learn in the classroom. They can try out their strategies in a safe, simulated environment without risking company resources.
Rich multimedia experiences
Wharton can enhance program delivery with a full-spectrum, multi-media experience that features video streaming and recording, and online recordings that are live, in real-time, or that can be accessed later, on demand. Our video conferencing is available for both large and small client groups, and we can also deliver web-based briefings and training.
